MK’s story is so inspiring. She is someone who was at a crossroads in her life and the path she chose clearly was the right one.

From living in her van to driving across the country and then opening up her dream shop on one of the coolest, most beloved streets in Seattle, she changed her life and is now living her dream. This is living, my friends.

Getting to know her journey as I photographed her in her space, watching her make pieces she will later sell in her store and seeing the happiness radiate from her smile were all signs she is right where she needs to be. Ballard Ave is lucky to have her and all of us who love jewelry are lucky to have her creations made by her own two hands.
