Three Things

Three things I’m loving right now :)

1. Oliver’s baby book

Somehow, Oliver is turning one this month and I am not ok. This year has flown by and at the same time it’s gone by very slowly. So many changes, milestones and happy moments all in 365 days. It’s crazy.

When I was about 6 months pregnant I finally bought his baby book that I had been eyeing for some time. It’s by Artifact Uprising, which is an amazing company that I use often and they have surely outdone themselves with this particular album. I haven’t even started filling it with notes or photos (because when does a mom even have time for this???), but I take comfort knowing its waiting for me when I’m ready. I have been collecting polaroids of us as a family that I plan to put in the book eventually as well as print out a bunch of my favorite iphone photos over the past year. If you’re a mom and want to do something similar I highly recommend this baby book! It would also be an AMAZING gift to give someone you know who is expecting :)

2. this lipstick that does not (with a capital t) come off

If I was on a deserted island and there was only one item of makeup I could take with me, it would be the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick. I’ve been using it (in ever color I can get my hands on) for years. I’m talking since 2017 when it was first released. It’s incredible. I don’t even know what else to say except that once you put it on you will need coconut oil or an oil based cleanser to take it off. It - will - not - come - off. You can eat, drink, kiss, whatever. It stays on. One of the most popular colors is Pioneer and it sells every six seconds! Insane. Seriously. Go get yourself one asap because if you love lipstick like I do, you’re gonna love this one ;)

3. My new podcast!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably already know that back in March I launched a podcast with my friend Lynnsey! It’s called The Secret Life Of. It’s about friendship, joy, entreprenuership and the simple things in life. We cover an array of topics such as navigating friendships once you start having kids, tips for small business owners, marriage, skincare, etc. It has been so much fun and such a wonderful new creative outlet for me. I’ve been so surprised at how effortless it’s been to do this and I think what that means is that it was always meant to be. I hope you start listening and I hope you love it!

Enjoy and see you next month!
